Technology “IS” why I get up in the morning, helping people, creating solutions and learning more ways to allow technology to do incredible things.

My interest in technology started at a very young age, when cassette tapes were still used instead of flash drives and one’s operating system was DOS based, with no Windows in sight.

I have become a student of the business whereby, I’ve spent the last 25 years non-stop upgrading my skills. Consolidated ,I have spent around 20 years in various management roles and 3 years running my own company. Listing every package and platform I have worked with could take a while, however a couple I’m very proud of are CISCO, HP Technical “laptop and Server Qualified”, Fujitsu “Laptop and Server Qualified” to name a few.

Currently, I’m applying this knowledge in my role as CTO (Chief Technical Officer) for The Trading Shack. This has proven to be a steep learning curve for me with exciting new challenges and prospects popping up regularly. Daily the “education” and experience increases, as they say “Never too old to learn something new”. The energy it provides, gets me to be able to assist or enable my colleagues in various ways to make our incredible team and company strive to be one of the best out there.

My passion for technology deriving from the influence and drive of my Father was key in moulding me to be who I am today. What’s important is that all this would also not have been possible without the amazing support of my Wife.
